Overall about 43.5 miles. We can cut short (at least 8 miles off) at various points on the way back, depending how people feel. There's a few climbs but easily do-able, especially those on electric (just wait at the top).
This is a lot of road and some may be quite busy. At least Wharburton bridge won't shake the bike apart since the resurfacing. TPT can get a bit wet but most of it, in Warrington, has that recycled rubber stuff down so it'll just be puddles if it rains (no mud is a good thing).
Average speed on these rides isn't going to break records, it's a relaxed social ride so may take longer than you expect.

This ride will suit all levels of fitness, it's not a race. Younger riders with road awareness welcome, we do hit a few roads that could be a bit busy.
We carry a few spares and tools on every ride with spare inner tubes but these are mainly for standard wheel sizes. 27.5, 29, 700c and 650b along with puncture kits and pumps. If you have an odd wheel size it is advisable to bring along a spare tube or 2.
The ride is open to anyone who fancies a trek out, Road/Gravel/MTB/Hybrid/e-bikes, just turn up before the set off time.
The ride should take around 4-4.5 hours with the coffee (beer) stop(s) and a final beer (coffee) stop back at the Raven.
